Survey on Awareness of Antenatal Physiotherapy among Women from Rural and Urban Populations of Maharashtra

Background: Antenatal physiotherapy is very essential for maternal and fetal health. Adequate knowledge andawareness in pregnant women plays an important role to promote its practice.Objective: The aim of this study was assess the awareness antenatal among womenin rural urban population Maharashtra.Study design: Survey or descriptive cross-sectional studyMethods: A conducted using a self generated questionnaire which includedquestions related 500 any trimester attendingregular checkups primary health centers private maternity clinic populationsof Maharashtra.Results: 406 included 208 (51%) 198 (49%) with mean age was23.5 (±3.39) 26 (±2.59) respectively. Educational level influenced positively.Conclusion: concludes that rate referral foundto be greater women. Hence would like highlight need create ofantenatal at all levels care systems.
